SUSIE KUNIYOSHI received her Bachelor of Music degree from Ithaca College and her Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music. She is an active freelancer in the Twin Cities area and has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Duluth-Superior Symphony, touring shows and ballet companies, as well as with the Grand Teton and Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestras in Wyoming and Colorado. Kuniyoshi has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, College of St. Scholastica, University of Minnesota-Duluth/Prep Division, and has presented piccolo master classes at Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In addition to teaching at St. Joseph’s School of Music, she teaches at St. Paul Academy and maintains a private studio. Kuniyoshi is a certified Suzuki Instructor who enjoys starting young beginners, as well as preparing advanced students for competitions and auditions.
